    LEARNING DIFFICULTY ADVOCACY PROJECT

    WHO AM I?

    Jean Vale

My name is Jean Vale I am the Co-ordinator for the Learning Difficulty Advocacy Project.

I have been working with people with learning difficulties now for over 15 years, their needs vary and everyone is very different.

    PEAKS AND DALES ADVOCACY

I started out with PADA as a volunteer, working ten hours per week as an advocacy worker and now I work 20 hours per week [3 days] as a Co-ordinator and Advocate.

    WE HAVE GROWN

The Learning difficulty project has been running for a number of years but has recently expanded with a full time manager, a part-time co-ordinator and more volunteer advocates.
